WARREN MEAD INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOL SUMMER FAIR SPONSORSHIP: 21ST JUNE 2025
Tuesday 8th July, 2025
Warren Mead Infant and Junior School in Banstead, Surrey, celebrated the return of its beloved Summer Fair on Saturday, June 21, after a multi-year break. Under brilliant sunlight and record-breaking temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius, the event brought together students, families, staff, and locals for an afternoon of celebration, a sense of community and successful fundraising from 12 to 4 p.m.
Being their sole sponsor and headlining act was an honour for AD BLY Construction. Since the school is located close to one of our current projects in Epsom for our client EDAROTH. We considered that it was vital to support and give back to one of the local schools in the area. This demonstrates our commitment to consistently interacting with the wider community.
With burgers provided by a nearby butcher and hotdogs generously offered by a nearby grocer, guests enjoyed a wonderful BBQ. Throughout the afternoon, there was a refreshment bar complemented by snacks and candy floss for children.
A wide range of entertainment and activities were available at the fair, including face painting, inflatables, and traditional games like crossbow shooting, hook-a-duck, coconut shy, and buzzer bonanza.
The fair raised over £3,000 with an additional £750 pledged through workplace match-funding from two generous parents. This brings the total fundraising amount to over £3,750, which will be invested in the construction of a purpose-built outdoor amphitheatre on the school grounds - a space designed to enrich pupil experiences through performances, assemblies and outdoor learning.
